Terry Ellis has been a professional interior designer since 1981. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from Wayne State University in Detroit. A professional member of ASID, she is NCIDQ Board Certified.

Published in The Detroit News, Homestyle Magazine, The Detroit Free Press, The Oakland Press, The Observer and Eccentric, Michigan Woman Magazine, The Troy Gazette.

Out of town projects include Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa FL, Denver CO, Portland OR and Charlevoix MI.

Terry Ellis found inspiration in the 1950s for her contemporary version of a '50s living room. The glass-topped cocktail table is by Hickory White.

Speaking of the Fabulous Fifties, Terry Ellis of Room Service Interior Design created a modern living room with a '50s ambience in the Bill Perlmutter showroom. The fabric shades are reminiscent of a 1950s-style Noguchi fabric lamp, for instance, and the curved Visu Canadian entertainment center recalls the Danish moderne era.
